The Narex crank-neck paring chisels, crafted in the Czech Republic, are of exceptional quality. Featuring an offset handle, these chisels can access hard-to-reach areas that other chisels cannot. They are also ideal for flush trimming. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel, hardened to 59 HRc, and are bent at a 30-degree angle. Compared to other bench chisels, these blades have a slimmer cross-section, with cutting edges ground at a 25-degree angle. The handles are stained Hornbeam with solid brass ferrules, and the blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs.
