Narex Right & Left 6 mm 1/4 Skew Paring Chisels

These exceptional quality chisels are made by a small tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59, allowing them to take and hold an excellent edge. They are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross-section that woodworkers prefer. As with all edge tools, they'll need sharpening before use, but they offer an excellent value in a good quality tool.

This set of right and left skew chisels is designed to cut cleanly and easily when trimming tenon shoulders and dovetails, getting into corners, and dressing end grain. The blades are ground to a 30-degree skew angle and have a 25-degree bevel, measuring 1/4" or 6 mm wide and 4 ¾" long. The handles are stained hornbeam, 5 1/4" long, 1 1/4" in diameter, and have a brass ferrule. The overall length of each chisel is 10".

The chisels come with an edge protector, but no retail packaging.
